All her smiles and laughter
But I’m not the one she’s after
Not the one who makes her joyful
Oh no, I’m just the one who is woeful
How she laughs with such glee…
How she laughs not because of me
Rather there is one such other
There is one who captivates that flutter
The bright and buttery heart that lives
In that radiant chest of hers
It beats
It beats
*Tear
It beats
*Tears
It beats
…
Do I see the shine in her eyes?
Yes… it is there clear as the longing in mine
But… he is there
Yes he is there.
