Generic Love Poem X

I had a title, but it wasn't really working... probably cause it had nothing to do with the poem :3 Anyway, ask away. That's my mentality when it comes to building confidence to ask out a girl. I mean there's pretty much only two ways it can go, yes and no. Other such cases are variations of the original two phrases.

Generic Love Poem X

The heart is a fragile thing

Always weary to the dangers life might bring

It’s also compulsive

Equally headstrong and impulsive

It rushes into a feeling

And is often left reeling

But why is this heart afraid?

A strong heart, a scared one is never made

They say what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger

Well I won’t let my heart suffer any longer

The pain is often drawn and endures

When it could be easily remedied by a million cures

For what is fast, is often painless

And excuse me for being shameless

But whatever it takes, to put my heart at ease

I’ll be willing to try, so don’t deny me please

There’s is something you must know about learning

It starts with a desire, a yearning

An intense burning that allows you to risk in hopes of gain

You will expend energy, you will take pain

Just to know the difference between reality and dream

A fork to divide a stream

These flowing ideals we cling to

In the false, in the true

I want to know

Do you love me like I love you?
