Do I even need to explain this one? Sometimes you just gotta vent folks and that's just what I did.

Heartache

So you know that the first sign of a headache is a dizziness

A light-headed, mind distracted, busyness

Then it gradually becomes a throbbing pain

The thoughts start to rush, you start to feel insane

Then it starts to sear

All logic is now unclear

And you wish for something to make it end

Just for someone to comprehend

That what you feel in that moment couldn’t be any worse

Unless you have a heartache of course

The symptoms of a heartache are only so different

Think about being stabbed by a million knives

Then being told your dog has just died

Or perhaps it’s closer to being told you have cancer

Then they say your wife ran off with some Russian ballet dancer

Not such an unusual hurt, kinda like being sore

I mean it’s just a pain that hurts only that much more

See if I told you I was dying it couldn’t be much worse

But then you say you cheated on me and have no remorse

It’s the little things that matter

The rougher ends are always the latter

It’s a pain that painkillers can’t always kill

But a shower and some rest might help you chill

The cold that is spreading from your core and out

It hurts like hell, but you’ll recover, no doubt

And when you do...

You might forget the pain it caused you
